For your getting ready location, we provide mobile wedding hair and makeup services or you can get ready at our studio in Maple, ON.
How much should you spend on wedding makeup?
In Toronto and GTA, the rates of wedding makeup can vary depending on the experience and the style of makeup, averaging from $200 to $1000+ for the bride alone. At Bridal Beauty, we set a fixed rate of $220 for bridal makeup.
Why do makeup artists charge travel fees?
We include a travel fee for on-location appointments to account for the time and effort it takes to get everything ready and come to you. This covers not just transportation costs like gas, transit, or parking, but also the time it takes us to pack, load in, and set up (usually an extra 15 to 30 mins). We often bring extra equipment like lighting, a table, or a chair, our whole kit to make sure you have the best experience possible, wherever you are which can take us more than 1 trip to unload from the parking spot to your getting ready suite.
How much does Bridal Beauty charge for travel fees?
Travel within a 15 km radius of our base in the L4K area is included at no extra charge. Beyond that, a standard travel fee of $1.60 per km for each way, per artist applies.
Do you charge for early morning fees?
Yes, we charge early morning fees if we need to start getting the bridal party before 8am. The cost of early morning fees starts at $50 per artist for 7am start time, $100 for 6am start time. The exact fees will be determined at the time of booking and varies depending on the number of artists required, what services etc.
Is there a minimum number of people required to secure a booking? Are there additional fees?
Bridal Beauty does not require a minimum number of people to proceed with booking nor do we charge additional fees based on party size.
Do you offer bridal trials/previews? Are they mandatory in order to proceed with bookings?
We do offer bridal trials/previews at an additional cost. This is not mandatory, but it is strongly recommended so you know exactly what to expect on your wedding day. Bridal makeup trial cost: $200

When should I start getting ready for bridal makeup?
For the bride and a bridal party of four, we recommend starting to get ready 4 to 5 hours before the ceremony. Hair and makeup takes about 3 hours. This will give you enough time for hair, makeup, and photos. If you have more people in the bridal party, add 1.5 hours for each extra person. If your bridal party is smaller, you can subtract 1.5 hours for each person.
Is it worth hiring a bridal makeup artist in Toronto?

The cost of hair and makeup for the bridal party can be covered by either the bride or the bridesmaids. Some brides choose to pay for these services as a gesture of gratitude to their friends for their support. However, this isn’t always the case if there isn’t room in the wedding budget which members of the bridal party can then choose to pay for their own hair and makeup or choose not to have it done.
Do I really need a makeup trial for my wedding look?
Wedding hair and makeup trials are highly recommended to know what your hair and makeup will look like on your big day. This takes one less stress away and you’ll know by working closely with our Toronto wedding makeup artists to create your dream bridal look. Every bride is different, and if you don’t wear makeup often or have never hair or makeup professionally done, it can be a big change.
